MANONGS
This near-textless short film of  the
struggle for the International Hotel was
the prequel for the 6-year project that
would become

community crushed by law.

the brutal evictions at the I-Hotel.  Elderly

children pilgrimage to the I-Hotel ruins in
remembrance of Manilatown, then celebrate

Senior Center. Featuring lots of food, the
Manilatown Orchestra, tinkikling dancers,
poets, and gut-wrenching sing-alongs.
